B&C Speakers - 15CXN76 8+8 Ohm

The B&C 15CXN76 8+8 Ohm, also known as the 15-CXN76 or 15 CXN 76, is one of the brand's most advanced coaxial loudspeakers. It combines a 15-inch woofer and a coaxially mounted compression driver in a single chassis, optimising time alignment and sound diffusion coherence.

This model is particularly well suited to compact two-way professional systems, powerful stage monitors and broadcast loudspeakers designed to deliver a wide, accurate response.

The bass driver is based on a 76 mm copper coil, capable of handling up to 800 W in continuous programme. Its membrane is waterproofed at the front, and its neodymium magnet motor guarantees good efficiency while reducing overall dimensions and weight (5.4 kg).

Bass frequency response extends from 40 to 18,000 Hz, with excellent sensitivity of 99 dB and remarkable linearity down to 1.2 kHz, the recommended crossover point towards the treble.

The high-frequency section incorporates a 75 mm aluminium coil with polyester/titanium dome, offering very fine high-band reproduction and nominal coverage of 80°. It handles 160 W in programme, with a sensitivity of 105 dB. The two sections work together coherently thanks to a single shared neodymium motor, ensuring optimum alignment of the acoustic centres.

The 15 CXN76 is compatible with B&C Speakers' FB15CX40 passive crossover, making it easy to integrate into pre-configured loudspeakers or custom systems. Its design allows for simple assembly, efficient cooling and rapid dynamic response, even under heavy load.
