Presentation
The B&C Speakers 15TBW100 4 Ohm is a reference loudspeaker for PA systems requiring high power handling with precision. With its 15-inch format and ferrite motor, it combines reliability and efficiency, perfectly meeting the needs of contractors and integrators looking for a solid component for subwoofers and subwoofers.
Its 100 mm split-wound copper coil, mounted on a fibreglass support, ensures excellent thermal resistance and efficient dissipation. This design allows full power to be exploited without any risk of loss of performance. The ventilated slot limits thermal compression, guaranteeing constant bass even during prolonged use at high power.
The radial cone is waterproofed on both sides to protect against moisture and mechanical wear. Combined with a triple-roller suspension and a double silicone spider, it provides a linear excursion of ±12 mm and controlled mechanics. The result is powerful but clean bass, suitable for intensive environments such as live gigs, clubs and festivals.
With a bandwidth covering 40 Hz to 1.5 kHz and a sensitivity of 95 dB, the 15TBW100 4 Ohm can be integrated into subwoofers as well as bass/midrange systems. Its electroacoustic parameters (Fs 39 Hz, Qts 0.28, Vas 88 l) make it ideal for a bass-reflex load of around 95 litres, tuned to 40 Hz.
