Presentation
The B&C Speakers 18IPAL repair kit offers everything you need to restore a tired or damaged 18IPAL loudspeaker. It's exactly the same as the original specification, restoring the extended frequency response, mechanical precision and, above all, impressive power handling that characterise this model.
At the heart of the kit is a double-sided waterproof replacement cone, identical to the original one and designed to withstand humidity and high levels of movement.
The 116mm aluminium moving coil, wound on a fibreglass support, comes pre-assembled with its centring shims, dust cover, foam gasket and the necessary connection accessories. Everything is provided for precise, safe assembly.
Designed for users who demand the same rigour as new components, this kit also includes a double silicone suspension, to maintain the linearity of the movement with up to 20 mm of travel.
Thanks to the use of materials identical to those of the original loudspeaker (aluminium, fibreglass, triple roll), the final performance is perfectly in line with the 18IPAL standard, both in terms of power handling (1700 W AES) and sensitivity (97 dB).
This kit is aimed at both sound system suppliers and maintenance workshops wishing to provide a reliable, cost-effective service, without having to replace the entire loudspeaker.
