The B&C Speakers 18NBX100 8 Ohm Push Buttons is a transducer designed to reproduce deep and dynamic bass while maintaining good excursion control, even at high power.
Its 18-inch reinforced paper cone, treated to resist humidity, ensures optimum rigidity and minimises deformation.
With a 100 mm copper voice coil mounted on a ventilated support, it guarantees efficient heat dissipation, thus reducing thermal compression during prolonged use.
This speaker operates ideally in a load volume of approximately 200 litres tuned to 35 Hz, a configuration that allows its extended frequency response from 35 Hz to 1 kHz to be fully exploited, while maintaining a good balance between impact and linearity in the bass.
The mechanical and electromagnetic optimization of the B&C Speakers 18NBX100 is based on a powerful neodymium motor, promoting high magnetic induction in the air gap, while reducing the overall weight of the assembly to 9.05 kg.
Its 10 mm Xmax and triple roller suspension guarantee sufficient linear travel to reproduce deep bass without audible distortion, even at high SPL levels.
The double-thickness silicone spider helps to stabilize the alignment of the cone by limiting parasitic movements, while the Push Button connection terminals ensure fast and secure wiring.
