The Recone Kit 12HPL76 8 Ohm from B&C Speakers is a complete repair solution designed specifically to restore 12HPL76 speakers to their original configuration. Whether you're dealing with breakage due to overloading, cone ageing or an accident on tour, this kit allows you to start again on a sound footing without having to change the whole speaker.
Every component included in this Recone Kit is identical to that of the factory model: 76 mm aluminium voice coil, fibreglass support, 12" cone, double roll and spider suspension, for a faithful reproduction of the mechanical and acoustic performance of the 12HPL76. It is also adapted to its electromagnetic environment, with perfect alignment to the 10 mm gap and a flux of 1.15 T.
In terms of performance, the loudspeaker repaired with this kit regains its bandwidth of 50 Hz to 3500 Hz, its high sensitivity of 99 dB, and its power handling of 700 W continuously. Installation is recommended in a 40-litre load volume, tuned to around 70 Hz, which corresponds to the most common configurations for portable sound systems and stage monitors.
