When it comes to refurbishing a professional loudspeaker without altering its acoustic characteristics, the Recone Kit 12NBX100 8 Ohm offers a direct, reliable and perfectly adapted solution. Designed for the 12NBX100 model in its 8-ohm version, this original kit enables an identical replacement of the moving unit, with all the components needed for a complete and lasting repair.
This model is aimed at users of high-power sound systems who are looking for an economical and technical solution to extend the life of their loudspeakers without compromising on sound quality.
The kit includes a treated cone (waterproof on both sides), a 100 mm copper coil, a double silicone spider, sealing gaskets and the centring parts needed for accurate rebuilding. All the components comply with the original tolerances and guarantee perfect compatibility with the 12NBX100 motor.
In terms of performance, this rebuilt loudspeaker is back to its best: a power handling capacity of 1000 W (2000 W in programme), a frequency response of 40 Hz to 1500 Hz, a sensitivity of 96 dB and a linear excursion of 10 mm. The electromechanical behaviour also remains faithful to B&C specifications: impedance of 8 ohms, resonance frequency of 41 Hz, BL factor of 25.6 Tm, and compact neodymium magnet system with optimised flux.
