Blackstar - Debut 50R Cream

A 50-watt combo with a custom 12" speaker is an instrument in its own right - not just an amplifier. From the very first chords, the Blackstar Debut 50R imposes a straightforward dynamic range: the Clean channel reproduces the attack of the strings with a crystalline transparency that lets the guitar express itself without imposed coloration, while the Overdrive channel structures the saturation with natural compression and defined harmonics, without collapsing the lower midrange under distortion.
The patented ISF tonal control - Infinite Shape Feature - acts on the timbral balance in a musical rather than parametric way: turned towards the bass, it directs the spectrum towards round, warm American colourations; turned towards the treble, it slides towards the more biting, present British signatures. This single potentiometer effectively replaces a three-band equaliser in the majority of playing situations. The 5W power reduction allows the natural saturation point of the custom 1×12" driver to be reached at acceptable levels for rehearsal or home recording.
The footswitch-switchable Plate and Hall reverb adds immediate spatial depth without the need for an external footswitch, and the serial effects loop accommodates post-gain time processing. The Line Out output with high-fidelity speaker simulation allows direct recording or console connection without a microphone, while the Line In input with headphone monitoring turns the combo into a silent workstation. The sober, timeless cream finish is compatible with a 2-button footswitch for simultaneous channel and reverb control.
