The Boss BCB-1000 is a game-changer for guitarists who are tired of carrying their pedals around in the most unlikely of bags. First and foremost, it's an ultra-resistant case with a moulded design, designed to take a beating. You grab the retractable handle, place the case on its integrated wheels, and even a loaded pedalboard moves like carry-on luggage. The fixed handles on the side and top make it easy to wedge it in the boot or slide it out.
On opening, everything is designed for efficiency. The angled aluminium surface offers a comfortable playing angle, and the standard Velcro fastening keeps each pedal perfectly in place. The real bonus is under the bonnet: the integrated junction box manages all the connections. No need to juggle a thousand and one cables. The instrument input, mono/stereo outputs and send/return loops are all directly accessible. There's plenty of space below the surface to store power supplies and excess cables out of sight.
On the practical side, the removable lid locks into place with four sturdy latches, and its foam interior protects adjustments. Non-slip rubber feet stabilise the unit when placed on the floor. Compatible with most effects pedals, loopers and expression pedals, the BCB-1000 accepts the most varied configurations. And the icing on the cake: its dimensions are designed to fit in airline carry-on luggage.
