Featuring two five-inch drivers, a bespoke wooden cabinet and a maximum output of 35 watts, this everyday practice companion delivers rich, resonant tones that rival much larger amps.

It offers five versatile amp characters derived from the acclaimed Katana series of stage amps, including a neutral amp character for electro-acoustic guitars and basses. Plus, it's packed with over 60 world-class BOSS effects.

First-class BOSS wireless technology ensures ultra-stable audio performance with ultra-low latency. The compact wireless transmitter offers up to 12 hours of battery life and has a charging port built into the amp.

The Katana-AIR EX has six built-in memories for storing your favourite amp and effects set-ups. It features a USB audio interface for computer-based music production and a stereo line output with mic emulation for a full-on microphone booth experience. What's more, the BOSS Tone Studio mobile app (iOS/Android) lets you combine in-depth sound-editing tools and powerful training features with your amp.

This amp also lets you accompany yourself by playing tracks from your mobile device or music player via the analogue auxiliary input or using the Bluetooth connection. What's more, you can download and share Livesets on the BOSS Tone Exchange platform to enhance your music experience.

The amp can be powered in a variety of ways, from the included adapter to eight AA batteries or the optional Roland BTY-NIMH/A rechargeable power pack, offering remarkable versatility. It also lets you control effects and more with the optional EV-1-WL wireless MIDI expression pedal or FS-1-WL wireless footswitch.
