Presentation
The features of CASIO's new Morphing AiR multi-dimensional sound source reflect a careful attention to detail in expressing the rich, resonant sounds inherent in the piano.
Installed memory capacity has been expanded to provide longer sampling times and higher quality waveform data.
The temporal changes in tonality that create a sound you only expect from a piano, starting with the initial sound and leading to a beautiful extension until the sound finally disappears, are reproduced naturally.
The difference between the sound structures of a grand piano and a digital piano appears as a difference in timing, from the moment the instrument is played until the sound is audible. The new Tri-sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II responds by incorporating a three-sensor system that sequentially detects key contact.
Key surfaces simulating ebony and ivory offer the luxurious feel, texture and soft touch of a grand piano keyboard.
The meticulously detailed surface finish prevents finger slippage due to perspiration and gives the feeling of a perfect fit, even when playing for long periods.
The resonance of the 88 keys is reproduced completely and naturally.
The resonance achieved by playing a single tone is differentiated from that achieved by playing a chord, so that the resulting variations in resonance are reproduced naturally.
This even allows musicians to obtain variable resonances, controlling them at will by the force of their touch, and thus to give performances with the unique expressiveness of an acoustic piano.
