The Cloak is a room-type reverb that is superb in its own right, but thanks to its Shimmer setting, rich harmonics appear to bring out 3 different orders of harmonics. A specially designed low-pass filter is added to smooth out the harmonics before they get out of hand and damage the signal.

The inspiration for the Cloak came from Stanford's acoustics department (CCRMA), where a treatise was produced a few years ago on the subject of the shimmer effect.
In a desire for perfection, it was after a great deal of research and testing that Catalinbread designed its version of the shimmer reverb with the Cloak.
The dimensions of the room can be adjusted, from the size of a broom cupboard to infinity!
The Cloak lets you choose between a true bypass that cuts the reverb when the Cloak is deactivated and a bypass with buffer that lets the effect sound when the pedal is released.
