The Code Drumheads DNACL12 DNA Clear 12" tom skin is constructed from 10 mil single-ply clear PET film. This structure allows the drum to vibrate freely and produces an open sound.
On a 12" tom, the skin enhances the attack of the drum while retaining a beautiful resonance. The sustain remains balanced and natural.
This model can be fitted as a striking skin or a resonant skin. This flexibility makes it easy to adapt the sound of the kit according to the mounting chosen.
The PET film used for the DNA series is selected for its consistency and strength. The skin remains stable even after several tuning adjustments.
The aluminium hoop with steel core distributes tension evenly. This makes tuning easier and helps the skin to stay firmly in place on the barrel.
