Presentation
The D'Addario 50JL01 John Lennon Live in NYC strap is based on the model John Lennon wore for his concert at Madison Square Garden on 30 August 1972. This was a very special concert, as it was the only complete show he gave during his solo career.
That evening, Lennon was accompanied by Yoko Ono and the group Elephant's Memory. The aim of the concert was to raise funds for a school, and the evening ended with a collective rendition of Give Peace a Chance with the audience.
Made from woven jacquard, the strap features a pattern inspired by the one on the cover of the Live in NYC album. The strap is adjustable in length from 99.1 to 147.3 cm, making it easy to adjust the height of the instrument.
It is 5 cm wide and has ends designed to fit over standard guitar buttons. The fabric stands up well to regular use and frequent movement. Suitable for acoustic, electric and bass guitars. The D'Addario 50JL01 strap is aimed at musicians and fans who want an accessory inspired by this defining moment in John Lennon's career.
