These strings offer the longest life in the D'Addario range thanks to their ultra-fine XS coating, combined with a NY Steel core and Fusion Twist technology for tuning stability and superior harmonic clarity.

The D'Addario XSE1156 set features a .011-.056 drawbar designed for those who want balanced playability, Medium treble for control and Extra Heavy bass for solid sustain in standard or low tunings.
The NY Steel core, combined with Fusion Twist technology, provides appreciable stability during tension changes. The XS Nickel Plated steel wire ensures a smooth response under the fingers, while retaining the sonic behaviour of an uncoated EXL string.
The set includes six strings, packaged in a re-sealable and recyclable VCI pouch for extended protection until assembly. The set is made in the USA, with particular attention paid to production control.
