Presentation
DAP's GIG-164CFX analogue mixing console features 16 channels, with 8 balanced microphone or line inputs and 4 stereo inputs. The mono inputs can be used with dynamic and condenser microphones thanks to the +48 V phantom power function. Each input, whether mono or stereo, offers functions such as 3/4-band EQ, panning, FX input level control and gain control.
The console is also equipped with a USB MP3 recording module specially designed for DAP's GIG analogue mixing consoles. In addition, it features a 24-bit DSP effect with 100 individually assignable presets for adding effects such as chorus, delay and reverb.
The first six mono inputs have a built-in compression module to ensure that all vocals are even and clearly audible. The two stereo groups allow you to mix two separate volumes in addition to the main mix. This allows musicians to customise their stereo mix to suit their preferences. Note that changing the faders will affect the main mix, but will not change the stereo groups.
