SoundCraft - Signature Plus 16

The Signature Plus 16 is an analogue mixing console developed by Soundcraft to bring together a wide variety of audio environments within a single workflow platform.

Its 16 channels make it easy to manage multiple sources simultaneously during a concert, recording session, podcast or video production, with a clear layout of controls that speeds up adjustments and minimises unnecessary handling. This design ensures a smooth workflow throughout production, even as multiple performers or instruments are gradually brought into the mix.

The Ghost preamps provide up to +65 dB of gain to handle a wide variety of sources with precision. The integrated dbx OverEasy analogue compressors on the mono channels make it easy to control dynamics directly from the console, without the need for external equipment. The Sapphyre 3-band semi-parametric EQ fine-tunes each signal with flexibility, helping to build a coherent balance during a performance, recording or music production.

Soundcraft has added a Lexicon effects processor featuring 32 effects designed to naturally enrich a mix using various reverbs, delays and modulation effects. The Tap Tempo function simplifies the adjustment of rhythmic effects to suit the track being played, whilst user memories allow you to quickly retrieve previously saved configurations.

This organisation reduces interruptions whilst working and promotes welcome continuity when moving between projects. The built-in bypass also makes it easy to compare the processed signal with the direct signal, allowing you to fine-tune each sound with greater precision according to the production context.

The 4-in, 4-out USB-C audio interface operates at up to 192 kHz, allowing the console to be easily integrated into a modern computer setup. Interconnecting equipment remains straightforward for recording multiple signals, setting up a stream or creating multimedia content without the need for additional interfaces, helping to keep the setup clear and efficient.

The enhanced monitoring section rounds off the package with an independent Listen bus, an assignable talkback function and advanced output control. LED VU meters make it easy to visually monitor levels on both inputs and outputs, enabling a quick response during production.
