Presentation
The DBX 510 utilises the subharmonic synthesis technology developed by DBX over several decades and incorporates it into a compact format designed for professional environments. This technology creates a new low-frequency component situated exactly one octave below the bass frequencies present in the original audio signal, adding greater depth, power and physical impact to the sound.
Designed for sound reinforcement, recording, broadcasting and live performance applications, the DBX 510 enhances the performance of audio systems by boosting the bass frequencies without compromising the midrange and treble. Its processing generates musical and controlled bass, suitable for both high-powered PA systems and studio set-ups.
The module features two independent subharmonic synthesis bands, allowing the amount of added bass to be precisely adjusted according to the type of source and the application. A master control for subharmonic levels, together with an independent low-frequency boost circuit, offers great flexibility for tailoring the system’s response.
Thanks to its 500-series format, the DBX 510 integrates easily into professional modular racks. Its simple interface with LED indicators allows for quick adjustment and visual monitoring of the applied synthesis level.
