DBX - ZonePRO 641M

The DBX 641M ZonePRO is a digital audio processor designed for professional fixed installations requiring a reliable, scalable and easy-to-operate solution. Thanks to its pre-configured architecture, it incorporates a complete processing chain comprising inputs, a routing matrix and outputs, enabling rapid commissioning whilst maintaining great flexibility of use.

With six inputs and four outputs, the 641M is suitable for a wide range of commercial sound reinforcement applications. It features four balanced mic/line inputs via Euroblock terminals, as well as two pairs of unbalanced RCA inputs summed to mono for connecting additional audio sources. Each microphone input has independent gain control to achieve the optimum level for the type of source being used.

The integrated DSP processing provides all the tools needed to optimise the audio system: equalisation, compression, limiting, priority management, automatic gain control and dedicated processing for voice announcements. Two configurable insert points on the inputs and one insert point on the outputs also allow specific processing to be added according to the installation’s requirements.

Each output features AutoWarmth technology, designed to preserve a natural and balanced reproduction of low frequencies when the sound level decreases. The integrated link bus allows the first six audio channels to be duplicated to another ZonePRO unit, making it easy to expand the number of available zones.

The DBX 641M can be controlled in various ways: via optional wall-mounted controllers, third-party control systems via Ethernet or RS-232, or the ZonePRO Designer software. The latter offers an intuitive interface with a configuration wizard, allowing you to quickly programme audio settings, routing and user functions.
