The Black Lion Audio PBR XSplit8 is an 8-channel passive XLR microphone splitter designed for professional environments where signal reliability and equipment protection are paramount. It allows a microphone signal to be split cleanly to several destinations, whether for live sound reinforcement, in-ear monitoring, multi-track recording or parallel routing in the studio.

Each channel has a front-panel XLR input, a direct output transmitting the original microphone signal and a transformer-isolated output. The isolated outputs use Black Lion Audio transformers specially designed and manufactured in the USA, ensuring minimal signal loss, stable impedance and total respect for the original level. Phantom power is only passed through the direct outputs, protecting sensitive equipment connected to the isolated outputs.
