The Denis Wick WA52-2A mouthpiece is the result of a collaboration between Denis Wick and Steven Mead. It predates the famous Ultra series and is still the preferred choice of many euphonists.
Its 26.4 mm bowl diameter produces a wide, round, well-structured sound. The 6.75 mm thick rim ensures comfortable, secure contact over time. The 7.5 mm grain ensures smooth, even airflow. This combination facilitates projection without sacrificing timbre quality. The bass register retains its depth, while the treble remains under control.
