The Denis Wick Alliance OF2 silver alto mouthpiece is a signature model designed with tenor horn virtuoso Owen Farr. It has been designed, tested and played by the artist to meet the expectations of the most demanding musicians.
Its 19 mm bowl diameter promotes a centred, even sound. The 5.8 mm edge thickness ensures comfortable contact and good endurance. The 5.2 mm grain contributes to a clean, even sound. This combination provides excellent intonation control. You benefit from a rapid response, useful for technical passages as well as lyrical phrases.
The design of the Alliance series is based on the expertise of international soloists from the brass world. This model is equally suited to working in a music stand or as a soloist. Its silver finish completes the ensemble, with a neat aesthetic and a pleasant feel under the lips.
