Denon DJ - SC6000 Prime

Building on the success of the original SC5000, the Denon DJ SC6000 Prime is a high-definition digital media player for DJs, with dual layers and new latency-free touch navigation, loading and playback features, making it well suited to professional DJs, festivals, clubs, mobile DJs and home music enthusiasts.

Updates to the SC6000 Prime include a 10.1-inch multi-touch screen, a larger jog wheel with an 8.5-inch platter surface for track, pitch and scratch manipulation. Redesigned rubber knobs are subtly illuminated and tactile keys add to performance and creativity.

With built-in Wi-Fi and wired internet connectivity, DJs can now stream music on their own or via platforms such as Beatport, Beatsource, Soundcloud and TIDAL. What's more, the Engine software can now play rekordbox, Serato and Traktor libraries directly from the media, with all grid markers, hot cues and loop points.

The dual-layer playback engine works like two separate players in one, with separate audio outputs. What's more, the player is capable of analysing embedded music files, allowing you to add cue points, loop start points and loop end points while working on the fly.

The SC6000 Prime uses a dedicated multi-core internal processor to run the Prime engine, and offers direct access to practical functions. The 8.5-inch touch-sensitive Jog Wheel features a central display that can show artwork for the track currently playing, custom artwork or the artist's logo. The player also features eight multi-function trigger pads that let you express your creativity as you play your Hot Cues, Loops, Slices and Rolls, with each performance locked to the super-precise rhythm grid analysis.

Up to four players can be LAN networked for synchronised data transfer between units, plus enhanced BPM and FX capabilities using Engine Connect protocol to work with Denon DJ's latest X1850 Prime 4-channel mixer.

The Engine Prime eco-system stores all the DJ's preferences and performance settings previously entered when inserting a USB stick or SD card, including cue points from previously performed tracks, loop regions, playback history and preparation folders.

Audio outputs are 24-bit/96kHz for the highest sound quality, and of course SC6000 Prime plays all uncompressed audio formats, including FLAC, ALAC and WAV, as well as all popular compressed music files.
