- Playlist Bank
Choose up to 4 playlists and add them to the new Playlist Bank. You'll then be able to access all these lists quickly, so you can quickly select tracks from different genres, and so on.

- Touch Preview
Preview any part of a song by simply touching its waveform at the desired point in the navigation section, just as you would on the CDJ-3000, without having to load the song onto the turntable.

Precise mixing
- Phrase Display
If you choose to view the phrase data analysed by rekordbox, you'll see how each song is structured, with sections such as intro, chorus and bridge indicated on the overall waveform. This handy feature gives you a visual understanding of how the music will progress.

- 3Band Waveform
Understand how a track sounds without even listening to it. 3Band Waveform is a popular feature of the CDJ-3000, which uses different colours to indicate the volume of the high, mid and low frequency bands in files analysed by rekordbox, so you can see how the music is composed just by looking at the waveform. The 3Band Waveform adds to the previous RGB and Blue waveform options.

Advanced performance
- Pad status display
With the new Pad Status Display, it's easy to check which mode the Performance Pads are set to, so you know exactly what to expect when you press one.

- Beat FX Bank and X-Pad
Save your 4 favourite effects in the new Beat FX Bank so you can activate them at any time with a simple touch. For the first time ever in an all-in-one DJ system, the X-Pad is integrated into the touchscreen, giving you an easy way to apply complex effects, simply by swiping from side to side.

Useful functions
- Countdown Timer
Set a countdown timer to a specific point in your set - for example midnight on New Year's Eve, or the time when a female vocalist is due to join your mix, or the time when you need to hand over to another DJ. The new Countdown Timer function will always be there to remind you that the crucial moment is approaching.

- Repeat mode
Play a track or playlist in a loop to keep the music going if you need to leave the DJ booth for a while. This new function can be very useful in situations such as sound-checks, as it means you don't have to keep going back into the booth to press Play.


Color On Jog Display: Capture track details visually
The LCD screen at the centre of each jog shows the playback position, and the responsiveness of jog rotation has been greatly improved compared to the XDJ-RX2. Cover art can also be displayed to quickly check which song is loaded on a track. And you can adjust the 'weight' of each jog to suit your preferences with the Feeling Adjust control.


More Beat FX and Sound Color FX: Add texture and drama to your mixes
The XDJ-RX3 takes all the effects of its predecessor and adds 6 Beat FX and 2 Sound Color FX. So you can mix using the full range of effects from the DJM-900NXS2: 14 Beat FX including Ping Pong, Filter, Phaser, Slip Roll, Vinyl Brake and Helix, and 6 Sound Color FX including Space and Crush.


Release FX: Inject new energy into your sets
By pressing the Performance Pads, you can instantly change the energy of your performance, whether you want to add intensity to a section of a song or create a thrilling moment before moving on to a new song or track. Use Echo Out or Spin Out, for example, to make a dynamic transition to your next track. Choose from 8 effect types: Vinyl Brake (Short / Long), Backspin (Short / Long), Echo Out, Build Up, Mute and Ducking.


Plug-and-play compatibility with rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro
The XDJ-RX3 can play music analysed by rekordbox on USB storage devices via Export mode, or you can plug in your laptop to use Link Export or Performance mode via USB-HID control. As this is a Hardware Unlock device, you can use Performance mode free of charge (no need to take out a paid subscription) to play all the tracks in your rekordbox library and enjoy all the features of the Core package free of charge when your computer is plugged in. The device is also plug-and-play compatible with Serato DJ Pro (from early 2022).


Natural sound: hear the real sound of your mixes
Because the players and mixer are integrated into the same device, there are no cables to compromise sound quality between them. The new audio design of the circuit board also eliminates unwanted noise, and fine-tuning has been done to create punchy bass and expressive upper mid-range frequencies, so the all-in-one system sounds true to the original source and your audience can hear the music as it should really sound.

With contrasting finishes on different sections of the unit and a control layout inherited from standard club equipment - with lighting around the Play/Cue buttons and Color On Jog Display - the XDJ-RX3 offers an aesthetic that evokes that of a professional installation.
