Drawmer - D-Clock-R DMS-6

The D-Clock-R DMS 6 is a Word Clock measurement and distribution amplifier designed to maintain a stable digital clock in sensitive installations where multiple pieces of equipment must remain constantly and precisely synchronised.

It features full dual redundancy for both the power supply and clock inputs, ensuring uninterrupted operation suitable for studios, broadcast control rooms and complex live performance environments.

The two independent mains power supplies share the load during normal operation and automatically take over in the event of a failure, thereby ensuring the availability of this particularly sensitive digital system.

This architecture enhances the overall reliability of the installation with intelligent power management that minimises interruptions when audio systems require a stable clock over extended periods of operation with consistent accuracy.

The front panel features an LCD screen that displays the received sampling frequency with an accuracy of 2 ppm, enabling detailed monitoring of the clock signal. You can view three different display modes showing the actual frequency, the nominal value with the deviation in ppm, or the percentage of variation, depending on your advanced technical monitoring requirements. This readout also provides constant visibility of the system’s overall digital behaviour whilst in operation.

The two BNC inputs with automatic detection recognise Word Clock or AES3id sources to precisely synchronise with the digital devices connected throughout the entire audio chain.

Signal distribution is facilitated by 12 rear BNC outputs and 4 front-panel outputs, which simplify the connection of a wide range of equipment—such as converters, digital interfaces or specialised broadcast systems—with a clear and efficient layout.
