Electric Guitar Effects
A Fuzz effect pedal, the JHMS4 recreates the mysterious rumbling fuzz sound that the guitar legend used during his iconic live performances. It features a custom silkscreen print of the famous poster of Jimi Hendrix's concert at the Shrine Auditorium in 1968, by the famous rock artist John Van Hamersveld.

Presentation
This special edition of the Band of Gypsys Fuzz pays tribute to the legendary Jimi Hendrix with a personalised finish that remixes the famous concert poster by the famous and prolific rock artist John Van Hamersveld from 1968 Shrine Auditorium.
An explosion of stars, peaceful sunflowers and psychedelic lettering awash with warm, vibrant colours underline the magic of contrasting forces.
Packaged in a mini MXR case, it's based on a mysterious Fuzz Face Distortion that Jimi Hendrix used on several iconic shows between 1969 and 1970, including the Band of Gypsys performance.
Red with white knobs, this particular fuzz sounded like a completely different animal to any other Fuzz Face pedal in his arsenal, rumbling with an aggressive, biting sound.
The original pedal has been lost to history, but its unmistakably unique tone lives on in recordings.
The Dunlop engineers reduced the sound to a version of the Octavio circuit that lacked the pedal's famous octave effect. After making a few adjustments, they succeeded with the Band of Gypsys Fuzz Face Mini Distortion.
