The Dirty Boy Jr Overdrive pedal has been designed to combine a preamp, overdrive and amp simulation within an analogue signal chain tailored for electric guitar and direct audio processing. Warm Audio utilises T.A.E. technology here, which processes playing dynamics in analogue form and allows for a continuous variation between clean signal, saturation and compression depending on the gain, tone and Variac settings. The 4x12 speaker simulation output and the direct output to an amp, an interface or a mixing desk ensure compatibility with a wide range of audio set-ups.

Presentation
The preamp section of the Dirty Boy Jr Overdrive is based on an analogue circuit inspired by valve amps, with gain control that adjusts the harmonic richness and dynamic response according to the processed electric guitar input signal from Audio Stable.
The gain, tone, volume and Variac controls allow you to shape the overall behaviour of the signal, directly influencing the dynamics and frequency response of the processing chain.
The built-in Warm Audio Variac system acts on the simulated voltage to alter the sense of compression and the texture of the signal, generating variations ranging from tighter saturation to more supple responses depending on the selected setting.
The Dirty Boy Jr Overdrive’s adjustment range allows you to transition from a clean signal to a more pronounced distortion, with a gradual response, perfectly suited for driving a pedalboard, an electric guitar amp or even an audio interface.
