Presentation
Designed for demanding hi-fi enthusiasts who don't want to sacrifice elegance for performance, the Elipson Heritage XLS 11 Light Oak speaker embodies the perfect balance between retro design and modern acoustic technology. With its more compact format than the XLS 15, it fits easily into a living room or listening room without losing any of its presence or sonic impact.
Beneath its warm light oak veneer, the XLS 11 hides a highly refined 3-way system. Its 21cm cellulose woofer, inspired by the 30cm model in the XLS 15, delivers tight, fast and deep bass. It works hand in hand with a 55mm dome midrange for a lively reproduction of vocals and instruments, and a 22mm silk tweeter that brings finesse and airiness to high frequencies up to 25kHz.
The bass-reflex configuration on the front guarantees better bass management even in confined spaces or close to the wall. As an added bonus, fine treble and midrange controls allow you to adjust the response to suit the room or your listening preferences. It's a bit like having a sound engineer in your living room, ready to adapt the speaker to your ear.
With a sensitivity of 90dB and an impedance of 6 ohms, the XLS 11 can be easily combined with a wide range of amplifiers, even modest ones. It will find a home with those looking for a highly musical loudspeaker that is precise, nuanced and always enjoyable, whatever the length of the listening session. And for purists, the addition of the optional inclined metal stand ensures perfect phasing, enhancing the soundstage and stereophonic clarity.
