But behind this satin look lies a concentrate of audio engineering, designed for those who want to combine aesthetics with demanding sound.
Under its perfectly round shell, Elipson has integrated a completely redesigned coaxial driver: the 165 mm bass-midrange in damped cellulose pulp offers a natural reproduction of timbre, while the 25 mm silk dome tweeter, supported by a neodymium magnet and a horn driver, delivers remarkably fine high frequencies, without aggressiveness, even at high volume. The whole system is calibrated for a frequency response of 46 Hz to 20 kHz, perfect for listening to music in all its breadth, from jazz to rock to film music.
Planet L Performance isn't just a 'boosted' version of the original Planet L: it's a real step upmarket. Thanks to DAR® technology, the suspension of the loudspeaker gains in control and precision, even during dynamic peaks. The internal crossover has also been redesigned using audiophile-grade components, for clear separation of the registers.
