Behind its timeless black matt finish, the Elipson Planet L Performance Matt Black hides an exceptional acoustic design, conceived for lovers of beautiful music as much as for design enthusiasts.
Each speaker adopts an elegant spherical silhouette 29 cm in diameter, both decorative and technical, ensuring perfect diffusion of the waves in the listening space, without any parasitic angles.
At the centre of this sonic jewel, Elipson has placed a latest-generation two-way coaxial loudspeaker. The 165mm treated cellulose pulp bass-midrange is combined with a 25mm silk dome tweeter, all driven by a neodymium magnet. This configuration ensures clear, open sound reproduction, with a tight bass and detailed highs, without excessive brightness.
One of the strong points of this Performance version compared to the original Planet L is the refinement of the internal crossover: MKP and MKT capacitors, low-resistance inductors, everything is optimised for impeccably clean frequency separation. The result is an airy, well-structured stereo soundstage, even at low volumes.
