Discover HD Lights! The Elixir HD Light Phosphor Bronze strings have more overtones and a better-defined bass, giving a rich, balanced spectrum across all the strings. This is achieved by blending the solid steel strings of a Medium set with the wired strings of a Light set, linked by a third custom string in .025. The increased tension on the high strings improves the resonance of the sound. The interaction between the tension and the soundboard also brings out the harmonics of the lower strings.
