The elysia xfilter Mastering Edition is a version of the famous xfilter analogue equaliser, specifically optimised for mastering. Where the standard model favours versatility and wider adjustment ranges for mixing, this Mastering Edition adopts an approach resolutely focused on precision, repeatability and absolute respect for the stereo image. The four Class A bands offer a gain range deliberately limited to ±5dB, ideal for fine, controlled corrections to a final stereo signal.

The two channels are strictly matched and use components selected to extremely tight tolerances, guaranteeing impeccable left/right coherence. The notched potentiometers allow precise recall of settings, an essential asset in professional mastering. The low-shelf and high-shelf filters can be switched to low-cut or high-cut with resonance for elegant spectral cleaning, while the low-mid and high-mid bands offer wide or narrow curves depending on the degree of correction required.
