The Infinite Sustainer Device is based on its American big brother the EBow, an electronic bow for electric guitar.
The concept is simple: the tool generates an uninterrupted magnetic field that vibrates the string over which you place it, giving infinite sustain. This opens up a whole new world of possibilities for your playing, allowing you to create solos or choruses with a pronounced violin-like feel. Take a listen to the melodic motifs at 3'29 and 3'49 of the song 'BySilent Screaming' and I'm sure you'll be convinced.
By engaging the little switch at the back, ISD will add a harmonic to the sustain of your note.

Je ne connais pas le ebow original mais celui-ci est beaucoup moins cher pour je pense le même usage. Pour l'avoir déjà utilisé en concert il fait largement le job Ceci dit, son usage est vraiment restreint mais il devrait partie des accessoires de tout guitariste, au même titre que capodastre, bootleneck etc...
