The ESP Eclipse USA electric guitar comes out of the ESP USA workshop in Los Angeles, where each piece is meticulously handcrafted.

The full-thickness mahogany body is cleverly lightened, keeping the dynamics intact while reducing the weight on the shoulder. The carved flamed maple top exceeds half an inch, adding bite and a very clean attack as soon as you dig into the strings.

The 3-piece mahogany neck has a Thin U profile and is set-thru glued, so you can reach the high notes without feeling a break. The ebony fingerboard and 22 Jescar extra-jumbo stainless steel frets ensure a fast glide, ideal for modern playing.

Carbon reinforcements built into the neck stabilise the guitar against changes in temperature and humidity. Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners and a lockable TonePros bridge and tailpiece keep the guitar in tune, even when playing aggressively.

The Volume/Tone wiring with 3-position selector and the Seymour Duncan Custom 14 set in Gold finish give a powerful, accurate sound that's easy to shape. Every visual detail, from the natural binding to the matching headstock, underlines the very high-end character of this series.
