Based on a Stratocaster shape, the instrument includes a Basswood body for a punchy and balanced sound onto which is screwed a Quatersawn Maple neck (quarter-sawn) and a Maple fingerboard for a powerful attack. great shine and extreme precision.
Aficionados of the most daring techniques will be delighted to find a Floyd Rose EVH with its locking nut for maintaining tuning hold and Dive Bomb effects in abundance.
The EVH Wolfgang humbucker is composed of an Alnico II magnet with a slight over-winding allowing a relatively high output level (around 14kΩ) for a sound benefiting from the vintage warmth of the Alnico and great ferocity.
