The coaxial loudspeaker is a bass driver mounted with a motor. The motor diffuses the sound through the cone of the loudspeaker membrane. The advantage is to have a single acoustic line from the lowest to the highest frequency. It is a true 2-way in one element and like any 2-way, the Coaxial requires filtering of each part.
