The B&C Speakers 12NDL88 8 Ohm offers an excellent compromise between power, light weight and extended bandwidth. This 12-inch loudspeaker features an 88mm aluminium voice coil mounted on a fibreglass support, capable of handling up to 1400W of programme power. Thanks to its compact, powerful neodymium motor, the 12-NDL88 delivers 98dB efficiency while keeping its weight down.
Versatile, the 12 NDL 88 covers a frequency range from 50 Hz to 3 kHz, making it perfectly suited to modern two-way speakers. The design incorporates a triple-roll suspension, a surface-treated paper cone (waterproof front face) and a vented air gap, reducing thermal compression during long, high-volume sessions.
This model is also distinguished by the presence of an aluminium demodulation ring, which helps to limit harmonic distortion throughout the useful band. Optimised motor geometry ensures smooth, controlled excursion, with an Xmax of 8 mm and an Xvar of 9.5 mm.
