Presentation
The MUSE 218SA from FBT Touring is a direct radiating subwoofer, featuring two 460 mm long-excursion B&C drivers with 100 mm voice coil and 4000 W Class D amplification, capable of reaching 148.5 dB SPL of sound pressure.
The bass-reflex cabinet offers substantial energy down to 30 Hz and is ideal for extending and reinforcing the low frequencies of the MUSE 210LN line array in ground-stack configuration.
It has presets to create various cardioid directivity configurations, where some subwoofers are oriented towards the rear of the audience to acoustically cancel the sound pressure behind the cluster, thus obtaining a reduction in the SPL at the rear of more than 15 dB.
The 218SA subwoofer is constructed from 18 mm birch plywood with six handles and anti-scratch paint. It has a reinforced grille with protective fabric.
It is also possible to install four swivel castors (100 mm) as an option.
