The Fender Acoustasonic Player Jazzmaster in 2-Color Sunburst is a hybrid guitar that fuses the worlds of acoustic and electric, opening up new sonic possibilities for modern players. The Jazzmaster-style hollow body gives the instrument a natural resonance, producing a rich, projected tone that’s ideal for a variety of situations, whether solo or with a band.
This resonance is enhanced by Fender’s patented String Instrument Resonance System (SIRS), which improves acoustic projection while reducing the risk of feedback, a major advantage on stage.
Acoustic Engine technology, developed jointly by Fender and Fishman, generates unique combinations of acoustic and electric timbres.
By combining the Acoustasonic Shawbucker magnetic pickup with the Fishman piezo system under the bridge, this guitar is able to switch from an aggressive humbucker sound to more subtle acoustic tones. The Blend potentiometer allows you to blend these sounds, providing a wide range of timbres to suit any playing style.
The mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard brings a familiar feel and added warmth to the sound, making it comfortable and intuitive to play. The Modern Deep "C" neck profile, combined with a satin finish, provides a smooth and pleasant playability, perfect for long playing sessions.
