Presentation
The Player II Telecaster HH Cactus Gray is designed for players looking for a Telecaster with a denser, more modern character. The alder body is a classic Telecaster shape with a gloss polyester finish. The maple neck has a Modern C profile, designed for a quick, natural grip. The satin finish on the back of the neck makes it easy to move along the entire length of the scale. The rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5" (241 mm) radius and rounded edges for consistent comfort. The 22 medium jumbo frets enable precise playing, both in chords and solos.
The 25.5" (648 mm) scale length retains typical Fender tension. The HH configuration is based on two Player Series humbuckers with AlNiCo II magnets. These electronics produce a thicker sound, with a muscular midrange and deep bass. The 3-position switch lets you quickly switch between bridge and neck pickups, or combine them. The fixed Strat through-string bridge with six pressed steel bridges promotes tuning stability and precise intonation. ClassicGear tuners feature a modern 18:1 ratio for fine tuning.
The fittings are finished in nickel/chrome, in keeping with the overall aesthetic of the instrument. The flat knurled knobs are easy to grip. A key for adjusting the truss rod is included. This Player II Telecaster HH is for guitarists who want a more powerful and versatile Telecaster. It's ideal for styles requiring sustain, density and controlled attack.
