The Fender Player II Telecaster Left-Handed is a solid body electric guitar for left-handed players looking for the classic Telecaster format with a contemporary specification. It features an alder body, Modern C maple neck and 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. The Fender Player II Telecaster Left-Handed is a solid-body electric guitar designed for left-handed players looking for a Telecaster aesthetic with contemporary playing characteristics. The alder body is finished in Fender-standard Cactus Gray high-gloss polyester.
The maple neck has a Modern C profile with a satin finish on the back and a gloss varnished headstock. The neck is a four-screw construction with a Fender logo plate. The rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5" radius and rounded edges for a smooth playing feel. The 22 medium jumbo frets make it easy to play chords and solo passages.
The 25.5" scale respects traditional Telecaster dimensions. The synthetic bone nut is 42 mm wide. The hardware includes a Tele through-string bridge with six moulded steel bridges for precise intonation adjustment.
Fender ClassicGear tuners feature a modern 18:1 ratio. Electronics include 2 Player Series AlNiCo V Tele single-coil pickups. The SS configuration is controlled by a master volume, master tone and 3-position selector switch. The sounds available cover the bridge pickup alone, the 2 pickups combined or the neck pickup alone. The original strings are Fender USA 250L in .009-.042 gauge.
