Presentation
The Fender Vintera III Mid '60s Telecaster 3-Color Sunburst faithfully reproduces the aesthetic and mechanical codes of the Telecasters from Fender's heyday. Its alder body provides a natural balance of solid bass, full-bodied midrange and clear treble, ideal for both rhythm and lead playing.
The maple neck has a Mid '60s "C" profile that falls naturally to the hand, with a fluid grip along the entire length of the neck. The 7.25" radius fingerboard has a vintage feel, making it comfortable to play in both open chords and higher positions. The Vintage Tall frets add a little extra height under the fingers, making it easier to bend while retaining an old-fashioned feel.
The Telecaster single-coil pickups, specified for the mid '60s, deliver a sharp attack, typical metallic snap and excellent note-to-note definition. In the bridge position, the sound remains incisive and precise, ideal for tight rhythms and country or rock lines. In the neck position, the register becomes rounder, with softer highs and expressive mids. The vintage bridge with 3 threaded steel bridges delivers clean sustain and a very direct response under the pick.
Fender Vintage-Style tuners provide tuning stability consistent with regular use in rehearsal or on stage. The high-gloss polyester finish effectively protects the wood while retaining the classic look of 3-Color Sunburst. The simple electronics - volume and tone - allow quick, intuitive adjustment in playing situations. The 3-position selector covers all the traditional registers of the Telecaster. This guitar is a natural choice for rock, blues, surf, country or vintage pop styles. It comes with a deluxe gig bag that's perfect for day-to-day transport and city trips.
