Presentation
The FiiO JM21 MKII Black is based on a fully symmetrical architecture featuring a dual Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC, an octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor and an FPGA chip incorporating DAPS technology to minimise jitter and preserve signal integrity.
It supports playback of PCM files up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD256. The balanced 4.4 mm Pentaconn output delivers up to 700 mW, whilst the unbalanced 3.5 mm mini-jack output delivers up to 360 mW. Three gain levels allow you to adjust the output power to suit the headphones or earphones being used. The 3.5 mm output also functions as a coaxial output for an external DAC.
Running on Android 13, the Google Play Store provides access to the main streaming platforms. Bluetooth supports LDAC, LHDC and aptX HD. AirPlay and DLNA are built-in for network streaming.
Internal storage is 64 GB, expandable via microSD up to 2 TB. Battery life is up to 16 hours in asymmetric output mode.
