Presentation
The FiiO M33 R2R Gold combines the functions of an audiophile portable music player, a USB DAC and a desktop audio source in a portable format. The 24-bit, 192-resistor R2R converter supports playback of PCM files up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD512. Eight operational amplifiers deliver 1,100 mW via the balanced 4.4 mm output and 470 mW via the unbalanced 3.5 mm output, catering for a wide range of headphones and earphones depending on their impedance and sensitivity.
The Android 13 platform, powered by a Snapdragon 680, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage (expandable via microSD), provides access to the main streaming apps without the need for an additional device. Navigation remains smooth thanks to the power of the built-in processor.
Bluetooth supports the aptX HD, LDAC and LHDC codecs. AirPlay and DLNA are also built-in for local network streaming. The 5.5-inch Hi-Res IPS touchscreen and desktop mode make it easy to use as a fixed installation. Battery life exceeds 14 hours when using the 3.5 mm output.
