Presentation
The FiiO Warmer R2R Silver is a desktop DAC combining fully passive R2R conversion with a valve output stage, designed for fixed hi-fi set-ups.
The R2R converter utilises 192 resistors spread across four channels, enabling playback of PCM files up to 32-bit/384 kHz and native DSD256. Four JJ Electronic E88CC valves make up the output stage, delivering an organic sound with well-defined midrange and fluid dynamics.
Two operating modes are available: NOS mode for a natural listening experience and OS mode for a more analytical sound. The linear power supply with a toroidal transformer reduces background noise and electrical interference for optimum signal stability.
Available inputs include USB-C, optical and coaxial, allowing connection to a computer, CD player or television. RCA and XLR outputs make it easy to integrate into an existing hi-fi system.
The front panel features a dual backlit VU meter. The front panel displays the tubes visible behind the front panel.
