Sometimes all it takes is a small instrument in a bag to turn a break into a musical moment. The Flight TUS-EE Sunset is designed precisely for this purpose: with its compact Soprano Travel size and its sunset-coloured mountain design, it’s just as easy to take on a walk as it is to bring along for an impromptu jam session with friends. Elise Ecklund sought to capture on this instrument the feelings of freedom, adventure, inspiration and peace that she associates with these landscapes.
The laminated limewood top features this colourful design, whilst the arched ABS back enhances projection in the mid-range and produces a bright tone. The ABS neck and fingerboard are more resistant to changes in weather conditions, making it particularly well-suited to a ukulele designed for travelling. The Aquila Sugar strings offer their own balance between softness and brilliance, whilst the zero fret and ABS bridge help maintain low string action and good intonation. The strap button makes it easy to hold the instrument, and the blue denim gig bag allows you to take it with you. A learning booklet, featuring tablature for an original piece by Elise Ecklund, as well as a pack of stickers, completes the set.
