Flight - TUS40 Mariana Galbani Travel Sunflower + Housse

The Flight TUS40 Travel Sunflower is a soprano ukulele designed in collaboration with Mariana Galbani, based on a simple idea: to make music a little ray of sunshine that you can take with you wherever you go. Its sunflower design instantly adds a cheerful touch to the instrument, echoing the flower’s association with light, energy and happiness. Compact and easy to carry, this Travel model is just as suitable for playing on your own as it is for sharing a few chords with friends.

Its soprano size retains the lively, melodious character we love to hear in a ukulele, with a construction designed to promote a clear tone. Its laminated limewood top contributes to this bright tone, whilst its arched ABS back adds more volume in the mid-range and enhances resonance. This synthetic construction also offers practical benefits for travelling, as it is more resistant to changes in humidity than a ukulele made entirely of wood.

The ABS neck and fingerboard feature a wood-inspired texture to ensure a comfortable feel under the fingers. The ABS zero fret and nut help maintain low action and good intonation, whilst the ABS bridge and open-back tuners make tuning easier. Aquila Nylgut strings, fret markers at the 5th, 7th, 10th and 12th frets, and side markers complete the package. A blue denim gig bag is supplied for easy transport of the TUS40, along with a learning booklet and a set of Flight stickers to accompany your first pieces.
