freqport's FreqTube FT1 is a unique analogue processor combining four real tubes, multi-instance VST control and USB-C connectivity to bring true analogue colour directly into a DAW environment.

Presentation
The Freqport FreqTube FT1 offers a completely new approach to analogue processing in the studio. Unlike software emulations or traditional analogue processors, this is real tube hardware, controlled like a plug-in, with total recall of settings and direct integration into the DAW. The audio signal actually passes through the four integrated vacuum tubes, guaranteeing saturation, harmonic compression and density that are impossible to reproduce by digital calculation.
The internal architecture is based on four independent analogue channels, organised into two gain stages per channel. This design allows up to four mono or two stereo signals to be processed simultaneously, with each instance controllable separately from the dedicated plugin. The user can adjust the drive level, harmonic balance between pairs of tubes, parallel analogue mixing and phase, with a precision usually reserved for the digital domain.
The FreqTube FT1 also incorporates eight multi-mode hardware analogue filters, accessible from the software interface, for sculpting saturation before or after processing. The whole system operates in bit-perfect mode, with professional ESS converters allowing sampling frequencies of up to 192 kHz, while maintaining extremely low latency. Settings can be fully automated and stored in sessions, doing away with the usual constraints of analogue hardware.
In terms of hardware, the FreqTube FT1 features a colour screen, eight assignable encoders, and a compact construction designed for both studio and mobile use. It is aimed at sound engineers, producers and musicians looking for a true analogue signature, without sacrificing the flexibility and speed of the modern workflow.
