Presentation
The SPL BiG expands the stereo image in an innovative way and opens up new possibilities for sound creation. Very easy to use, its intuitive interface has only three controls:
- RANGE selects the frequency range to be processed
- STAGE allows you to move this range on the stereo stage
- The large BiGNESS potentiometer adjusts the intensity of the stereo image shaping. The BASS/Off switch is used to activate or deactivate the bass reinforcement after the BiGNESS stage, carried out by a passive filter similar to that used in the SPL IRON master compressor.
The On/Bypass switch activates (On) or deactivates (Bypass) the module, allowing you to quickly switch between processed and unprocessed signal.
The signal LEDs (Sig) indicate the presence of an audio signal at the input of each channel, with a level higher than -20 dBu.
Warning: this module cannot operate alone, it must be installed in an Api 500 type format chassis (not supplied). It will occupy the space of 2 slots.
