With the Plasma Rack you give your signal an electric boost and the electrical discharges created in the PLASMA tube are immediately converted back into an analogue audio signal.

By pushing the BLEND, you can obtain a totally modified signal, produced solely by the discharge tube.
This means that as soon as you stop playing, the electrical discharge in the gas tube is interrupted and the effect produces no output signal.
This feature allows you to achieve extreme contrasts between notes by eliminating all noise between takes.
PLASMA RACK converts the signal from your instrument into a rapid series of electrical discharges, resulting in significant saturation with non-linear harmonics, generating extremely rich and reactive attacks, as well as extremely high-pitched harmonics.
These harmonic artefacts, produced as by-products of the high-voltage discharge, are rare in traditional signal amplification and, as a result, PLASMA distortion is unlike anything you've heard before!
PLASMA RACK offers a host of additional features: Tremolo / sRing-modulator, Op amp, MIDI sync, master/slave control of stereo effects when two racks are used together, three external effects loops and an oversaturation effect similar to a vintage Octa-Fuzz effect.
