The Gibson Les Paul Special TV Yellow features a mahogany body and neck, with a rosewood fingerboard and a Vintage 50s neck profile. Its two P-90 pickups, combined with the two volume controls, two tone controls and three-position switch, offer a particularly interesting response for exploring the nuances between the different pickup positions. Its TV Yellow finish, black pickguard and nickel hardware also give it that instantly recognisable Gibson look. The guitar is hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors and comes factory-strung with 010-046 strings. It comes with its Gibson hard-shell case, which is handy for protecting it during transport or storage.

The Maestro Fuzz-Tone FZ-M adds a new dimension to the sound of the Les Paul Special. Its Modern and Classic modes let you choose between two distinct fuzz characters, whilst the Attack, Tone and Level controls allow you to tailor the effect to suit the track and the desired level of distortion. Its fully analogue operation and true bypass make it easy to integrate into an effects chain. Powered by a 9 V battery or a regulated 9 V DC power supply, it is a simple addition to enrich the guitar’s tonal palette.
